Honolulu (Haw.) St. Louis offensive lineman Reeve Koehler has added three new offers to his growing list…
Honolulu (Haw.) St. Louis guard Reeve Koehler is the top offensive lineman in the state of Hawaii. The massive prospect stands 6’3” 289lbs and has a list of offers that keeps getting longer.
“Kansas came up one day last week and the next day they offered,” said Koehler. “Oregon, I have been hearing from them for a while and the same for Colorado.”
Koehler already held offers from Hawaii, Utah, Washington and Washington State. He talked about his interest in each of the programs.
“I am considering them all right now,” said Koehler. “I am trying to get there and see what they are like.”
So does that mean Koehler plans on taking all of his visits before making a decision?
“Yea, all five of them,” said Koehler. “I won’t commit until the Army game. I don’t have any schools set for visits; I am going to talk about it with the family.”
Koehler has tried to keep busy this spring, spending most of his time lifting.
“I took an unofficial visit to Hawaii,” said Koehler. “Besides that I have been training. I know I will be at the PIAA combine for sure.”
“Hawaii is definitely a changed program,” said Koehler. “Right now it is what going to D-1 program should be like. The tempo over there is upbeat.”
While Koehler is taking his time in making a decision, he does know what he will be looking for over the next few months.
“First thing I am going to go off is my relationship with the coach. If I go away then I’ll have no family there. So someone that I can have a relationship with, be able to talk to them,” said Koehler. “Then how much help I can get in school and what area feels the best.”
