Can't wait to see him return some punts. Hope that his shin splints don't affect his performance too much. I've had that several times before and the only way to get rid of them is to refrain from extensive running for a few weeks.

He just gotta run 20 yards in the right direction after each catch. Then rest till the other side punts the ball again.Matsu wrote:Can't wait to see him return some punts. I really hope him and Edwards are effective in the return game, while it would be cool for Moniz to throw 5k in back to back seasons. A shorter field is much more beneficial.
Not to mention a return for a td is the most exciting thing to see live.

This is going to be such an interesting experiment and will remain a point of interest throughout the time he spends there.
Slight correction to be made in the bio. Scott will be the 3rd Australian to play WR at a D1a school. Brett Popplewell played at Nebraska from 1991-1995 and Adam Grey-Hayward played at San Diego State from 2000-2004. It is indeed a very very short list and each of them had such diverse roads to get to where they ended up.

Can't wait to see Scott return punts. I heard one of the coaches compared him to a young Kealoha Pilares. I hope that is true.

with more experience in the system he will be a great slot. Rugby wing players have sure hands, quick moves, they are fearless and they can take hits.
And Aussies are all about having fun.
