He will definitely fit into Hawaii's system. Question, why or how did he end up losing the starting job too a local qb? Andrew Manley that's not as moblel as he?

Two different schools. I thought Manly went to NM state and Stump went to NM.polywarrior4life wrote:He will definitely fit into Hawaii's system. Question, why or how did he end up losing the starting job too a local qb? Andrew Manley that's not as moblel as he?

His highlight tape really looks good. The qb battle for next year will be a good one. I think next years qb battle will be one of the best battle in years. Every other year they are so different from starter to second string that there is a big drop off between the two. Next year I think it will be very interesting and very close in battle.

Has anyone seen him practice in person? I am just curious because reports early in his career stated he had mediocre arm strength. And Rolo said the he was impressed with his arm. So I am just curious. However he still is a great get for us. cant be Mr. Texas for nothing.

Only thing I worry about with dual threat QBs is the tendency to run first, hopefully Rolo can mold him to a pocket passer with the ability to burn.

Look at his statistics. Make no mistake about it, stump is a passer first. Yes he can tuck it and run, but he is a passer first and foremost. He came to Hawaii because of our offense. This duel threat QB will find his receivers.
