Should be a beast this year along side with Chizzy!!

I thought he ran with a lot of power last year. Perhaps he'll catch a NFL's team eye for a draft position next year.

both Green and Chizzy will have a great year. You can count on it. Green should also provide good protection for our QBs which the NFL also likes.

I like Chizzy out of the backfield for passess.

This dude is poised for a breakout season! Can't wait to see him run the ball and catch the shuffle pass out of the backfield.

Bad News for Boise State

Post by uhwarrior23 »

Green's mom to attend

The UH coaches were happy to learn that running back Alex Green's mother would be attending the Boise State game. In the two UH games Phyllis Smith has attended this season, Green has rushed for a combined 279 yards and seven touchdowns.

Smith averaged 10.33 yards per carry in those games.

"She'll be there," Green said, smiling.

Green said he welcomes playing in the rain.

As a Portland resident, Green is either used to running in the rain, or the wet conditions lead to more running plays being called.

"Either way, I'll be ready," Green said.

I"m so glad he's doing so well and being recognized for his contributions. He can block, he can run, he hangs on to the ball.. and he can catch - well, pretty good, anyway. Big, good north south RBs that can block are valued commodities at the next level. I have a good feeling about him.
