Appeared in 10 games, making nine starts at cornerback...tallied 28 solo tackles and three tackles for loss…career-high seven solo tackles at Louisiana Tech (Sept. 30)…had five pass break-ups, including two at San Jose State (Nov. 21)…had six tackles against Central Arkansas (Sept. 4) and Wisconsin (Dec. 5).
2008:
Number switched from 18 to 26
Appeared in the first three games before being sidelined for the rest of the season...recorded two tackles and added an interception for an 11-yard return in home win versus Weber State (Sept. 6)..Redshirted
JC:
Played two seasons at Los Angeles Harbor College in California...named to the first-team all-Western State Conference Mountain Division squad in 2007...ranked second in the conference and set a new school mark with 17 passes defended...led the team with 13 pass break-ups...intercepted four passes and had 54 tackles...tied for 10th in the conference in interceptions...named team's 2007 defensive back of the year...
- limited to five games as freshman due to a torn ACL injury...recorded one interception and 21 tackles.

A 2005 graduate of Carson High School in California...earned three varsity letters in football...led his squad to two league titles and a city championship....a two-time first-team all-league pick at cornerback...named team' defensive player of the year and defensive back of the year as a senior...also named the West Coast Sports and Medicine defensive back of the year...tallied eight interceptions, 141 tackles and 14 pass breakups as a junior and senior...also lettered in track...was the 2003 league champion in the 300-meter hurdles and 4x400-meter relay team.
