2007 Graduate of Valencia High School in Orange County, CA Where he lettered 3 years in Football and was the Starting Left Tackle CIF Finalist his junior year. All-CIF Southern Division selection and First Team All-Empire League for Placentia (Calif.)

During his Junior and Senior years, Austin started at left tackle on an offensive line that blocked for Wes Fletcher who is a highly recruited player heading into his senior year. Both years Wes ran for over 2,000 yards which Austin and his fellow linemen took great pride in helping him achieve.

The summer prior to his senior year, Austin attended the USC Lineman Camp. There were approximately 180 offensive linemen at the camp. By the end of the day the SC coaches had narrowed their Top group down to 15 linemen. Austin was one of those 15 top linemen and every one of those linemen received D-1 football scholarships to such schools as USC, Cal, Washington State, Boise State, and Arizona State.

He also lettered in Basketball (1 year), Baseball Baseball (2 years) Team captain both years

Personal:
Austin J. Randall Hansen was born on April 1, 1989 in Placentia California.
He was raised in Yorba Linda, CA with parents Jon & Susan Hansen. He now resides in Honolulu and is married to his high school sweetheart Rachel. He has an older sister, Tatum, who is currently a nursing student at Arizona State and a younger brother, Brady

Fun Facts:
- When he was born, he and one other baby were the only two babies in the hospital. Austin was 22 inches long and weighed in at 10 lbs. 13 oz. while the other baby was born a little pre-mature, but was doing well. The funny part was that baby was a 4.5 lb. Baby boy. So Austin was more than twice as heavy as the other baby, which made him look even like a bigger monster than he really was. He was the talk of the hospital for a couple of days.
- In his sophomore year of high school he was diagnosed with pneumonia and was supposed to stay home from school for the rest of the week. His dad was out of town, but the next day Austin talked his mom into letting him go “watch” his team play . Austin snuck and told his coaches he was fine and was released to play. Dad arrived back in town and so mom and dad went to the game and arrived at halftime. They found out Austin had played the first half and he then played the rest of the game.
- Major: Considering neuroscience. Scored a 1960 on the SAT (ie. top 5% in the country)
- Hobbies: Reading, Snow Boarding, Long Boarding, and Body Boarding
- Music: Likes all genres from classic 80’s rock to Hip Hop
- Loves Mexican Food
- Works out with former Warrior Long Snapper, Bryce Runge (who also attended Valencia HS)
- Biggest Sports Influence: His strength & conditioning trainer for the past 18 months. Lou Smith was a former NFL player (Chargers & Rams) and currently a trainer for many NFL and other top level athletes.
- In a regional little league championship tournament game Austin hit a home run that most observers said was the farthest home run they had ever seen hit by a 12 year old. It was estimated to have traveled 275 - 285 feet. Earlier in the tournament he threw a 3 hit complete game to send the series into a final game which his team won. He always has had a pattern of excelling in pressure games.
