Looking forward to him making a huge impact at RWR!
Re: Day 11 - Darius Bright
Looking forward to seeing him manhandle smaller CBs. The QBs will have a harder time overthrowing him!

6'5 225 WOWOWOWOW!
i hope he's got hands....and if he does...he's gonna kill it in this offense.
we should get some major RZ help cause he'll open things up.

Re: Day 11 - Darius Bright
A 6'5" slam-dunking wide-out from Cape Fear?
It sounds too good to be true.
With 16pts and 10 rebounds per game he should be playing B-Ball for the Warriors.
We have enough wide receivers.

Re: Day 11 - Darius Bright
Looks like D-Bright will more than likely redshirt this season. Good move. With Bradley graduating this season, he could be the starter at LWO next season.
http://www.staradvertiser.com/sports/sp ... r_job.htmlIt appears that heralded junior college transfer Darius Bright will redshirt this season. Bright, who played at City College of San Francisco last year, entered UH with three years to play two seasons. He was on the travel roster for the two-game trip to Army and Colorado, but did not play in either game.
McMackin yesterday said that barring emergency situations, those eligible to redshirt who have not played in the first three games will not play this season.
Re: Day 11 - Darius Bright
Saw 2 girls with hand painted t-shirts with his name and number at the Army game. Hope they weren't too bummed he didn't play. Better for him to have 2 years to rip it up.

Substance matters.
Re: Day 11 - Darius Bright
Darius is only one of 2 JC transfers that Coach Mac allowed to join the UH family. Saw him during the summer and he has great hands. He will be the main man in the 2 years left to him. In the meantime, he can learn from Salas, Bradley, Kealoa and other seniors who wish they had a redshirt year to burn. A lot of the seniors were so good, it was hard to keep them out of the lineup. I know Mac speaks highly of Darius and has him on various special teams.
