#76 William Hodgman OG 6' 3" 330pounds 40yd: 5.0s

I found this on You Tube he is Fijian/Samoan from New Zealand, ex Martial Arts Champion, top Rugby League and Rugby Union Player. Played American Football for the Metro Lions in New Zealand and then made his way to the States where he started OL/DL Lakeridge High School (Lake Oswego, OR) as a Junior and then transferred across to Bishop ODowd High School (Oakland CA) where he started OL/DL.

Made the Hayward Area Athletic League (HAAL) 1st Team Starting Defense in his Senior Year was being activley recruited by Cal, UCLA, Boise State, Idaho and Colorado. Did not have the language credits, so ended up playing J.C at Arizona Western.

Man I keep watching this thread every time someone posts something hoping it'll be news about our first announced recruit and all I keep seeing is so and so committed to some other school.

Dang this is brutal.

William Hodgman is a big prospect who was being actively recruited by Cal and UCLA out of Bishop O'Dowd High School, Oakland -CA before he had to go the J.C route. In 2009 he was a Freshman Starter at D.T for the Arizona Western College Matadors. In his Sophomore year the 6' 3" 330pound Lineman who also has a 5.0s 40yard time, has been confirmed to start at Offensive Guard. Hodgman has huge upside, he is extremely aggressive, finishes off his blocks well, and is very quick off the snap. Originally from Auckland New Zealand, this Fijian/Samoan will be an asset to the U.H Program.

William now has his academics in order, together with being a December graduate the opportunity to play in Hawaii is definitely an option for him. by (fiamacho)
