Hauole Jamora to Washington?????????????
Star-Bulletin: Jamora trims to 4 schools
For Wednesday, January 6, 2010
By Paul Honda
Kahuku defensive end Hauoli Jamora said yesterday he has narrowed his college choices to Boise State, Hawaii, Oregon State and Washington.
No school is ahead of the others, and Jamora said he is seriously considering UH.
"I would like playing in front of my family and friends," the 6-foot-3, 235-pound Star-Bulletin defensive player of the year said.
He is set to visit Washington this month. The Huskies already have three local prospects committed: Micah Hatchie (Waialua), Lawrence Lagafuaina (Aiea) and Dalaunte "Taz" Stevenson (Mililani).
Jamora was part of a Red Raiders team that won the Oahu Interscholastic Association championship and made it to the state Division I final and lost to Kamehameha.

Today's Scout.com article on Jamora's recruiting.

Here's the part that talks about Hawaii as a possible school for him to play for.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Come on Jamora. All you have to do is this!
Close your eyes, tap the heals of your football shoes, then repeat these words.
"THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME"

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------------Then there is the University of Hawaii, a college close to home.
“One of the most important things to me, and will always be, is my family,” Jamora said. “I’m lucky enough to see them every day. It’s not like I don’t want to get out of the nest, but I can come see my family if I need to. I could come home on the weekends or come to celebrations or have family close by if I need them. I would also have the chance to experience everything with them and they would be able to come to my games to see me play.”
So when will Jamora make his final decision?
“I’m going to wait until I’ve taken all of my trips,” said Jamora. “I want to make sure I know as much as I can so I can make the right decision for me. After I do that, then I’ll make my decision.”
Come on Jamora. All you have to do is this!
Close your eyes, tap the heals of your football shoes, then repeat these words.

From Readon's blog,
">> Sources say Kahuku defensive end Hauoli Jamora — one of the best prospects in the state this year — is seriously considering Hawaii and not just being politically correct to the hometown team in his public statements."

Good news is he didn't commit on his visit to UDUB it sounds like. I'm really hoping he stays home. He has a chance to start next year and it would be great to see two Kahuku boys at the ends.

I truly hope that we can get Jamora, if he decides to commit, he can make a huge impact, and we will be on our way to having a great recruit class

Ioane thought about committing on trip to UW
Ryan Petitt
UDubSports.com
The Hawaii to Washington pipeline is alive and well under new head coach Steve Sarkisian. Heading into the weekend UW had three commits from the Aloha State in OL Micah Hatchie, ATH Taz Stevenson and DT Lawrence Lagafuaina. They added one more with Hau'oli Jamora who committed on his visit and nearly made it two.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Ioane confirmed Jamora's verbal commitment to the coaches and players while eating at the Crab Pot Saturday night. "He kind of told me he was going to do it," he said.

Hauoli Jamora, a 6-foot-3, 230-pound defensive end from Kahuku High School on the north shore of Oahu, also reportedly made his verbal commitment known, but we have been unable to confirm that commitment with Jamora, his family, or his coaches. Dawgman.com did speak with Reggie Torres, Head Coach at Kahuku, who could not say if Jamora had made a commitment.
