- Moved from Running Back to Slot Back
Played in 10 games with four starts at running back...also lined up at slot back and saw brief time as a punt returner...led team with seven touchdowns, including five rushing and two receiving...carried the ball 56 times for 300 yards and averaged a team-high 5.6 yards per carry...also had 29 catches for 246 yards...scored a touchdown in three straight games (Weber State, at Oregon State, San Jose State), including both of UH’s touchdowns in loss to San Jose State (Sept. 27)...had season-high 109 yards of offense in win at New Mexico State, including career-high 10 catches for 90 yards and a touchdown...academic all-WAC...a UH scholar-athlete.
- Named the Warrior Scholar Athlete of the Year at the NaKoa Banquet

Appeared in 11 games and made one start against Utah State...led the team in rushing with 388 yards on 68 carries and three TDs...also had 26 receptions for 249 yards and one score...rushed 11 times for 62 yards at UNLV (Sept. 15)...had 10 carries for 52 yards and a score at SJSU (Oct. 12)...scored in consecutive games against Utah State (Oct. 6) and SJSU (Oct. 12)...academic all-WAC.

2006:
Attended Summer Basic Training, but left the Air Force Academy before school started. Did not play football

2006 Graduate of Damien Memorial High School where he lettered four years in football and track, three years in basketball, and one year in paddling. In his Senior year he rushed 237 times for 1,741 yards and 24 TD
Named the Star Bulletin and Honolulu Advertiser Offensive Player of the Year for 2005
Named to the 2006 HHSAA Nissan Hall of Honor
Turned down an offer by Boise State and originally signed with Air Force. Attended Basic Training, but left the Air Force Academy before school started.

Also competed in Track and Field
In the 2005 HHSAA Championships he placed 1st in the Triple Jump, 5th in the Long Jump
In the 2006 HHSAA Championships he placed 1st in the Triple Jump, 5th in the Long Jump, 9th in the 100m
2005 ILH Track Athlete of the Year

Named Damien HS: Brother Thomas B. Regan scholar-athlete award, Outstanding Athlete award, MVP in Football and Track & Field and a Viriliter Age Award recipient

Kealoha Micah Pilares was born on Feb. 20, 1988, in Honolulu, O`ahu...Parents are Marlene and Douglas Pilares of Wahiawa, O`ahu. Has two older sisters (Kanani and Kamaile)...

Fun Facts:
- Editor of the Damien Yearbook and also senior class president.
- Played OLine in Pop Warner, serving as the pulling guard to then QB Keao Monteilh
- HS teammates with former Warrior Keoni Steinhoff and current Warriors Hakuole Correa and Bronson Tiwanak
- Favorite Athlete is Deion Sanders

I think moving him to SB was a great decision. He looked real good in the NMSU game last season. I see him putting up solid numbers.

smooth as silk runner. Look for a big season from him.
