Tall and thin.
If he got wheels and handles, we might just see some highlights becoming of another famous #84:

Or maybe a familiar #8?

Re: Day 46 - Joe Avery
Joe will get the first shot to start at LWR in the absence of Rodney Bradley. I like this kids size at 6'5" 190 Lbs. Hopefully he can step up and have a good game. He made a nice catch for a first down on a third down play against Idaho. I think he will develop into a solid player for us. He could be a threat inside the 10 yd line on fade patterns.

Re: Day 46 - Joe Avery
6'5" ? Hmmm... gotta put him in the end zone against some shorter player, if only to draw a double team and free up another receiver.

Re: Day 46 - Joe Avery
Use him like Boise used Legedu Naanee in the slot. Especially in the redzone.madeinhawaii wrote:6'5" ? Hmmm... gotta put him in the end zone against some shorter player, if only to draw a double team and free up another receiver.

Re: Day 46 - Joe Avery
I think Joe should be the starting LWR w/ Rodney out. Kealoha is a slot!
Re: Day 46 - Joe Avery
I was watching Pilares and Avery running paterns before the game and one thing I noticed is Pilares was a lot quicker off the los and into the pattern. But I really like Joe. He has that long stride that covers a lot of ground. I wish that he would bulk up more and be more aggressive.uhwarrior23 wrote:I think Joe should be the starting LWR w/ Rodney out.
