A 2008 graduate of Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu, O`ahu...a two-year starter on the offensive line...played guard as a junior and center as a senior...named second-team all-league and honorable mention all-state in 2007
- Participated in the 2008 Max Emfinger All-American Bowl in Jackson Mississippi January 2008 for the West Team. Named team captain and later achieved offensive line MVP honors. Also led the team in the Haka.
- 4 of 5 starting OL on Kahai's Sr Yr team @ Kamehameha are on their way to play Div 1 Football (Mykenna Ikehara – Washington, Kahikolu Pescaia - Navy, Daniel Kaanana – UNLV, Kaha’i Choy - Hawaii)
- Wore #57 throughout High School (Kamehameha Kapalama)

Taylor Kaha’I Choy was born on March 25, 1990, in Hale`iwa, O`ahu. He has a younger brother (Pono) and a younger sister (Aulani). Parent are Nalani and Shelton Choy of Hale`iwa, O`ahu...
- Accepted into UH Engineering College w partial academic scholarship. Plans to major in Electrical Engineering (EE)
- Chose UH over UNLV and Kansas

Fun Facts:
- Has wanted to play for UH his whole life
- Works out w Sam Fehoko (Tex Tech) and brother VJ (Farrington) in off season
- Drummed for all UH Home games with Vili the Warrior
- Brother is still one of Vili’s Drummers during home games
- Has played every spot on the OL throughout his career and has never wanted to play anywhere else but OL
- 6'3.5" arm span (fingertip to fingertip)
- Favorite Pro Team - Denver Broncos
- Trained w Bryan Derby for over 8 years and was in the original Derby camp when it first started at Kapulono park with only 8 players including Dominic Raiola (Nebraska/Detroit Lions), Donovan Raiola (Wisconsin/St Louis Rams), and Bryson Bierne (Univ of Arizona QB)
- High School teammates with Current Warrior Vaughn Meatoga and walkon Jordan Gomes

- Mom is a member of the Multi-Na Hoku Hanohano Award winning group "Na Leo" http://www.naleo.net/
