This is our starting QB for 2010. This kid looks like a real stud player. Can't wait to see how he develops!
"I saw the fullback, he's looking directly at me," Soares said. "I knew he was coming my way, so I already knew. I went with all my power and all my might and I went crush him. I heard him when I hit him, I heard him -- he felt it."

Don't know if it's been posted already but just in case it hasn't from last month:

Looks like he has some potential as a QB... good size, athletic (played safety/LB in HS), rocket arm, and is mentally tough and has a good attitude (comes back from season-ending injury to join the Warriors for workouts in May right after his HS graduation).
We might have to keep an eye on this guy

Just his name makes you want to see him play. I can hear the fans chanting...
Give Jantz a chance..
Give Jantz a chance...
Give Jantz a chance...
The booming voice of the announcer... Steeeeeeeeeeeel Jantz!
This guy has size, the right attitude, and arm. We don't know about his accuracy, but he's got a great coach in Rolovich, and a excellent RnS offensive mentor in Lee. As the scout team QB, you know he's learning more about quarterbacking than ever before.
I look forward to seeing his progress over the next two years. If Brent is as good as advertised, Steele might have to settle for #2 in 2010, but he'll have two more years after that to impress. I wish him luck and hope he keeps up the good work.

There is something about this guy that tells me he will be a good one at UH, if not, a great one when all is done. When I first saw him during camp, I thought that this guy have a lot to offer. He has a great attitude, and never die attitude. I wouldn't be a bit surprise if he emerges out of nowhere and be a productive player during his career at UH. Keep up the good work Jants. I can already see the banner "made of steele."
