I love the guy, and while he hasnt hung up the cleats yet...move cal lee up, bring in Jeff! He wants to break into coaching, and who else can smack the 'system' into a linebacker? Its a good fit, his wife is from here. And this from a guy that fired her!

That might work if Coach Mac is the HC. I think they had a pretty good relationship. Have Reinebold as DC, Lee as DL, Ulbrich as LB and Miano as DB. That would be pretty awesome.

I'd go for it. He has always been my favorite LB at UH. I hope he can translate his intelligence and passion into coaching.

Aside from his incredible play, Jeff was a bigtime leader on that unforgettable '99 squad, and to me is forever a UH Hero if only for 1 incredible season (like Robinson, Rolo...)

You got that right. The rest of the co workers must have said "why the hell did you fire her?" She must have been pretty bad for that to happen.

I would think he is in line to be a 49ers coach

Jeff Ulbrich is one of the more interesting coaching ideas that has come up. He wants to coach and has spent time off the field with 49er coaches studying videos and game planning. But I don't think the timing is good. He is still playing and earning over $1.5M a year.

His wife is a Kaiser high grad i think.. And she was pretty hot back than too..

Otherwise, Albrich has intentions of moving into MMA type of fighting after his football days are over from a report I've watched on the 49'er network.
