I think they should dedicate a time slot to replay UH football games. Maybe try and get the rights to replay classic UH games. I haven't been a UH fan as long as many of you, so I didn't really get to see the Wags era, but I did see a little of the VonAppen. I basically started watching UH football when I started going to UH. Anyway, does anyone know of a way to pass on the suggestion?
But the main problem is, most of the games are owned by K5. So unless K5 agrees to release them (highly unlikely), OC-16 can only get the rights to show ESPN/Fox Sports/Sports West produced games. So far, I have only seen them replay games that were on ESPN or on its own station.
Maybe K5 would release them to OC16 if they can get 16 to back off from trying to take over UH sports broadcasting from 5.
I prefer 5 myself because I no have cable!
