Weems vs. Peoples

Post by Grinch »

Today's Star-Bulletin: "Weems wins: UH sophomore wide receiver Marcus Weems edged true freshman linebacker Khevin Peoples in a 40-yard sprint after practice yesterday. Peoples beat cornerback Ray Bass in a similar race earlier this year."
Questions: Wasn't it reported that Ray Bass run a 4.3 - 40 at a Nike combine? If that the case, does anyone know what Weems and Peoples run their 40s in?

This kid Weems is only a sophomore? Then he still has a chance. He has size and speed. So what's the problem? Probably the mental side is not all there.

Hope Weems can develop into a Lelie-type of player. :D
But I can't wait to see Peoples play. He's beating Ray Bass, and barely losing to Weems, and he's a linebacker. :o Probably could play safety too.
