Star JC WR visiting UH???

Post by XKamaaina »

According to this Nevada paper, we have an important visitor this weekend.

...UNLV remains in the running for one of the top junior college players in California. Wide receiver Jerard Rabb (6-3, 200) of Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, Calif., visited last weekend and is taking a trip to Hawaii this week...

Looks like we're not on his list on scout.com

http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=187&p=8&c=1&nid=1350647

California Med Interest No None
LSU Med Interest No None
North Carolina Med Interest No None
Oklahoma Med Interest No None
Oregon State Med Interest No None
Texas A&M Med Interest No None
Washington State Med Interest No None
Wyoming Med Interest No None

Looks like he was the Mission Valley Conference Offensive POY

Also looks like he has caught a few passes from former Warrior Jason Whieldon's brother who is a freshman QB at Saddleback. Wonder if there is more of a connection?

Hopefully he has been following JW's success here in Hawaii and has become a Warrior fan.

He's listed as a top 5 WR in the JC ranks and has a 4-star rating.

Shoot, Scout.com site is reporting he has signed with Boise State. Hurts because we lost out on what sounds like a great player and now we gotta face him when we play those Broncs! Ugh!

God funit! So that blowout lost to Boise comes back to haunt us! This kid chose living in Boise a.k.a. RedNeckville, U.S.A. over living in Hawaii and playing in paradise and in an offense that throws it all over. Why? Damn, you Boise! :x
