The Nike Combines are a lot more trustworthy than anything the Advertiser can print. The kid is probably 6'1 1/2. That 40 time is extremely slow, how can they shade of 4/10 of a second like that.H20 wrote:Kirk Alexanders Scout profile.

Rivals has him as 6.1, 178, 4.87-40, and a vertical of 32.9 all recorded at a Nike camp in April. I hope what the Advertiser printed means he got taller, bigger, faster, and able to jump higher since then to his numbers are padded.

I'm sure his numbers are padded. But a 4.87 40?H20 wrote: Rivals has him as 6.1, 178, 4.87-40, and a vertical of 32.9 all recorded at a Nike camp in April. I hope what the Advertiser printed means he got taller, bigger, faster, and able to jump higher since then to his numbers are padded.
His Rivals profile still has him as a 4.6 at 6'1" and a 33" vertical. He's rated as a 2-star player and that 5.2 "rivals rating" puts him in the same class as Desmond Thomas from last year... all of this is still pretty good.
I doubt he actually has 4.87 speed and is still a 2-star player who received an offer from UCLA.
Kinda looks like the same type of pickup as Desmond Thomas... similar heights and speeds, both WR/S prospects. Thomas prefers playing WR, and Alexander prefers safety. So that worked out well. Welcome aboard!
