Coaching changes to affect recruits?

Post by BigWave96744 »

Wow :o , so many coaching changes to happen at the end of the season.
Florida, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Washington, Stanford, Illinois, Utah (most likely), UNLV, BYU, SJSU, Boise State and Penn St (remote maybe), and even Dartmouth

Of the team that heavily recruits local boys, this we know:
- Utah's Urban Meyers is the top guy for either Notre Dame, Florida, or Washington
- BYU's Gary Crowton, fired
- Washington's Keith Gilbertson, fired

I'm wondering if some of the top local guys will consider staying home instead of going with a new coaching staff..

Utah has recently taken over BYU as the school of choice for many local boys. I earlier said Spencer Hafoka was a lock for Utah, after their Summer training and game up in Utah... Maybe, just maybe that could change..

Hope so. Now if they can just get rid of that crappy blue field, they'll be ready for MWC membership.

They've managed to get great coaches, Houston Nutt, Dirk Koeter, and now Dan Hawkins.... i'm sure they'll find someone else, they seem to have a nack for finding diamonds in the rough.

I'm hoping Dan Hawkins sticks with Boise State. Boise is coming to Hawaii next season and it's our chance for a little pay back. I'm just hoping we wont be so thin on defense this time.

As much as I would love to see UH get back at BSU, unfortunately the Broncos has the Warriors number at Aloha Stadium too. Looking forward into next year, I see this along with the USC game a definate loss, regardless of heavy or thin UH is at D.
