*** PACK THE HOUSE: SPECIAL TICKET PRICES ***

Post by BigWave96744 »

FROM UH:
The University of Hawai`i athletics department has announced a "Pack The House" campaign for the Michigan State football game Saturday, December 4, at Aloha Stadium at 6:35 p.m.

All fans that have purchased tickets for the game are encouraged to either use them or pass them along to another individual, so that the seats are filled.

In addition, special ticket promotions have been instituted for unsold sections of the stadium. These offers are available only at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office until Friday at 4:00 p.m. and not at Aloha Stadium or any other ticket outlets. They include:

- Football season-ticket holders will receive a special price of $20 for red and yellow-level sideline seats (regular price is $35), $15 for South end zone seats (regular price is $30), and $10 for North end zone seats (regular price is $22).

- Fans, who are not season ticket holders, will receive a $10 discount on the cost of a ticket by bringing a toy for the "Toys For Tots" campaign to the Stan Sheriff Center when purchasing their ticket.

- A special ticket offer is being extended to families with children 4-18 years of age. Tickets for kids in this age group are just $7.00 (the normal price is $17.00) in the North end zone.

- UH students will receive a free ticket to the game by showing their valid UH identification card at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office. In addition, the Chancellor's Office has made arrangements for student buses to the MSU game. The buses will pick up students on Dole Street in front of the Gateway House at 4:00 p.m. and leave the stadium 30 minutes after the game and return to the Gateway site for drop off. Sign-up sheets will be posted in the residence halls or students can call the Student Housing Office (956-5052) to reserve a seat.

Members of the Manoa Maniacs will have the opportunity to participate in a special promotional activity for the chance to win a $1,000 scholarship.

The first 10,000 fans to enter the stadium will receive free Warrior trading cards, which feature seniors on the UH football team. This is the fourth of four sets, provided by KKEA radio.
