first drive vs. LaTech

Post by 8_five »

I'm no coach and this is just an idea i'm tossing out.

On our first offensive drive, wouldn't it confuse or keep LaTech off balance if we pounded the ball on the entire drive?

They are anticipating TC and our guys to try and break the record and so forth but if we used our "thunder and lightning" combo the entire first drive no one would expect it.

Our O takes what defenses give us, and of course we have to have success running much like against Nevada. I think it would help set a different tone for the game and open up the long passes.

I hope no one gets injured and that Rivers can become a deap threat again. I'll be at the stadium, hope to see some of you guys there.

I could see that. Just PLEASE dont let the record pass be a shovel. That would suck.

I believe two of the first 3 plays will be long bomb attempts.

I agree that Coach Jones and i'm sure every UH fan will want the pass that breaks the record to be a touchdown to a game that UH wins...

We can all only hope!!!

a long touchdown pass to break the record will definitely get onto ESPN Sportcenter's top 10 plays...... on sunday morning when everyone is still asleep. [-X
