Speaking of Next Year
Any clues as to your 2005 schedules in terms of who you play at Aloha Stadium and who you play on the road?
That plays into how well you play as how your players perform.
Wyoming has to go to Gainesville (Florida) and to Oxford (Ole Miss) in 2005. Fortunately it's not the Oxford in England. Althought their rowing team is excellent.

We get USC, Wisconson, and San Diego State at home. The WAC schedule will flip flop again with Fresno and Boise in Hawaii. Not sure what they're going to do with the new teams that come. I'm just waiting to see a game in Idaho's basketball court they call a football field. No matter what, it will be a trial by fire for whoever Timmy's replacement will be with USC in the opening game.

I think the new teams coming into the WAC will initially have some troubles stopping the run-n-shoot. but like Rice, UTEP, BoiseSt... they've found a way to slow down the run-n-shoot.H20 wrote:We get USC, Wisconson, and San Diego State at home. You forgot that we play at Michigan State also. IMO, next year is the toughest schedule in UH football history.H20 wrote:We get USC, Wisconson, and San Diego State at home. my guesses
Here is my guess as to your conference schedule next year:
Home: Boise State, Fresno State, New Mexico State, & Utah State
Away: @ Idaho, @ Louisiana Tech, @ Nevada, & @ San Jose State
Any thoughts? Again it's just a wild guess.
Wyoming knows where our MWC games will be. As for dates, that'll come probably in January or February.
Home: Brigham Young, New Mexico, UNLV, & Texas Christian
Away: @ Air Force, @ Colorado State, @ San Diego State, & @ Utah
Yea, I know. We'll have to play CSU at Fort Fudd AGAIN next year.

Re: my guesses
We're at Florida and at Ole Miss plus, a home game against Bowling Green. We had to drop a home game against Louisiana-Monroe in 2005 because TCU is joining the MWC.uhwarriors_17 wrote:yea it should be something like that...who does Wyoming play out of conf.?wyokie wrote:Here is my guess as to your conference schedule next year:

Next year will be better because of the lower expectations. Kinda like what Wahine volleyball fans went through this year and look at those girls now! #2 in the nation.
UH football will get smoked by USC in next year's opener, but after that? Who will we see running Coach Jone's ship? Rolo II, Akina, a RS Freshmen? I for one can't wait to finish up this season and see what the next one holds!
