my thoughts on the game is the score will be UH 56-SJSU 24 at home they usually play better and i doubt sjsu will be much on the road... but with hawaiis def injuries i looks as if they will score... hehe owens wants to redeem himself for the mistakes he made last week... let the show begin...

Someone's got to do it

BOLD Big Wave, very BOLD!!! I like your "maverick" prediction, ala Coach Jones. I still don't know if I agree with it but I definitely like your "on a limb" approach.
As the "Maverick" would say, "Big Risk Yields Big Rewards"
If my prediction for total yards is the closest without going over, I get 1 year free Verison DSL from the BC show... Bobby thinks I'm nuts, but someone's got to dream big... I still think we haven't seen our offense at it's finest...

That quote, I agree with you!!! We haven't seen UH's finest because nothing isn't clicking yet. I believe we won't see the Warrior's best offense until the defense is squared away (so that might not be ever this season). The reason why I believe in that is that the offense get so many three and outs that UH's D doesn't get any time to rest. With all the fresh faces on the field they need to absorb everything that's being coached on the sideline i.e. schemes, what they did wrong, why they are out of position, stop arm tackling, look at the opposing O's formation, yada, yada, yada... Perhaps the O is being pressured to stay on the field a little longer to get the defensive boys a breather, therefore not running the O like Coach Jones want to. Also the fact that some of the receivers spread cooking oil on their gloves prior to the start of every game this year thus making them a little more unreliable forces Chang to throw to only one or two option, instead of four, or force more running/shovel plays (which only happened in one game so far this year)....I think it is a plausible thought....

Well...looks like TC will play, Patton is out, and Moreland got hurt AGAIN!

Moreland sprained his ankle yesterday but the Advertiser didn't make it sound serious. Hopefully it's a tweek.

I just noticed on the CFN site that they either forgot to or intentionally didn't list the UH/SJSU game in their fearless predictions. Hmmm....were we that bad last week?

With UH's defense banged up with a lot of new faces starting this week it will be hard for Hawaii to stop SJSU consistantly.

Hawaii 73
SJSU 45

Timmy breaks the NCAA passing record at home and Abe gets two more interceptions!

I have no idea how the this Warrior team will respond with all the injuries they are sustaining on D. So I'll make an un-educated guess at the score:

San Jose State University Spartans: 38
University of Hawai'i Warriors: 45

Yes he did, great job!

I came close predicting 40-28, hell i'm scaring myself with our homegame predictions, i've been within a TD on every game!
