Hope that Coach Naeole can coach this young man up. Good size and potential.

When I saw this guy I wondered if he could play nose guard.
He's had high school experience as Defensive tackle and Tight end.
JC experience and an Offensive Tackle.

He might have the right size and agility to be a good nose guard in the 3/4...

Lacks explosion and plays tall, which are 2 bad DL traits.

Actually he played DT and TE in highschool... IN JuCo, he never allowed a sack, so he must have good reflexes and quickness to go with his size.

Looks like he's in school till the end of July.
Hopefully his grades pan out and there are no issues for a quick enrollment into fall.
Been following his social media pages and this guy is self-driven to perform.

Playing DT and TE in High school doesnt mean that would tranlate to being a good college level DT. Also, OL punch and sit, which is the opposite of the swat, push DT tactics.

That applies to all high school grads. Thing is, we don't have a prototypical 3-4 Nose guard/tackle... nobody that big, anyway..

From Wikipedia..."The 3–4 nose tackle is considered the most physically demanding position in football.[9] His primary responsibility is to control the "A" gaps, the two openings between the center and guards, and not get pushed back into his linebackers. If a running play comes through one of those gaps, he must make the tackle or control what is called the "jump-through"—the guard or center who is trying to get out to the linebackers. The ideal nose tackle has to be much bigger than 4–3 DTs, weighing around 335 pounds or more. An AFC Personnel director used Ted Washington as an example of an ideal nose tackle: "In his prime, Ted Washington was the ideal guy. He was huge, had long arms, and you couldn't budge him. He could hold off a 320-pound lineman with one hand and make the tackle with the other."

UH doesnt have prototypical players in many positions...(i.e.) there have been short OTs, LBs under sized LBs , DBs and DEs...anyways holding the point and not getting psuhed back takes explosion and timing that this guys doesnt have, but nothing against him...just an observation and reply to comment about him playing DT.
