Niceeeeeeeee!!! Named top qb in BYU camp and also competed in the Oakland elite 11 region. I wonder how he did? Also, wasn't he planning on going on a mission after high school? Needless to say, it's a awesome pick up!!!
Go Warriors!

interesting, hes now ranked in the ESPN 300. he must be turning some heads at camps. too bad he plans on going on a mission though, hopefully we can find a way to sign another QB in this class.

Despite holding just one scholarship offer from Hawaii, quarterback Aaron Zwahlen (Modesto, Calif./Downey) was evaluated over the weekend and now sits at No. 153 in the ESPN 300. Sunday night, Zwahlen made a commitment to play for head coach Norm Chow and the Warriors, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
"Hawaii felt like home," Zwahlen, who took a spring break trip with his family to Honolulu, said.
Boise State, Brigham Young, Duke, Northwestern, Texas Tech and Washington State showed some interest in Zwahlen who is expected to embark on a two-year Mormon mission following his freshman year in college.
college football=drama for men.
GO WARRIORS!

Komo mai, Aaron ... and good luck!
It's been my personal experience that I often don't remember most of these recruits, especially at QB where only one guy can play at a time.
It's my perception that over the years a long list of "prospects" have signed on to be the next QB at UH, never to be heard from again other than spot roles in relief ... if that.

QUESTION:
Who's the projected starter for this season?
It was asked of me the other day, and I don't have the slightest idea.

I think it's still Graves with Higgins second.

Smart kid. Take the offer to be "Norm's guy" before another QB does. Early bird gets the worm.

Hope he still stays with Hawaii after completing his mission, cause you know BYU will come sniffing around.

This kid is good, but he's no Tanner Mangum. BYU won't be in the market for a QB for awhile come the time Aaron's available.

Chow personally knows the Zwahlens and coached Aaron at the Utah camp last year when he was coaching at Utah. It's unlikely that Zwahlen will decommit. The bigger question is whether he goes on a mission.

So should he go on a mission as soon has he finishes high school, or enroll at UH for a year? If he goes immediately after high school he'll be back in time to vie for a starting position to fill in the vacancy after Graham. Assuming Graham starts after next season.

The quailty of recruits is getting better since Norm Chow took over as head coach. A ESPN 4 star top 300 ranked #153 commited to Hawaii in June. Are you friggin kidding me, that would never happen to Mack in Feb signing! Chow reputation is starting to take hold of the Warrior Football program. I hope for more good news for the Warrior nation and Welcome Aaron to the Warrior Ohana!
