Wahines lost but I gotta say that they are on top of UH Sports as far as excitement! Went down to the 5 set of the game with a more physical Illinois team. Good show Rainbow Wahines!

i like what i see in Ross, i like her better then Granato, i think in time she will be better, but Granato played well tonight down the stretch, good exciting game

I think the service errors killed the Bows along with the fact they weren't picking up the hits by the Illini in the first two sets. I haven't been watching them most of the year but I was wondering if service errors was something they were prone to. It seems like a momentum changer or stopper.

The Illinois setter was a huge factor in the match, and the Illinois fast attack to the leftside pin was outstanding in beating Hawaii's block. Ma'afala continues to impress me with her connection with Hawaii's middle hitters. Only saw one misconnection to Natasha that she almost whiffed on, but which caught her fingers and then brushed off the Illinois' blocker on the way out of the court. The Illini proved themselves and Big 10 volleyball with the 5 set win over U Dub. You can't teach height, and it's tough to beat height that has athleticism.

But not to forget the achievement from the 2017 Wahine to reach the Big Dance! I didn't believe that the NCAA would give them a chance.

in game 2 (uh vs ill) it looked like they gave up on hitting and were just tapping things over. glad they turned things around during the break and brought it to a game 5.
