Basebows Swap Dugouts For 2016 ?

Is it true our beloved Basebows will switch to the "visitor's" dugout at Murakami for the coming season?
Why ?

Most of the first base crowd, plus the Manoa Maniacs, are long time fans, and well, family. Some of the
front row crowd have had season tickets since the stadium opened, this could be a heartbreak for many.

Not sure how well this will 'sit' with the Ohana ;) . . .

Might have something to do with the state of the locker rooms

True, but they used to be on the 3B side during the Coach Les days. The chilly Manoa mist usually blows toward the 1B side most Friday and Saturday nights, and the opponents can't really see who is warming up in the 3B bullpen or see PHs taking hacks in the batting house.

whirlygig5, you're right the seats above the 3B dugout are in direct sunlight the entire game for day games...today against NM it was actually cool weather for Murakami, plus a nice breeze but by the middle innings of the 1:05pm game the blazing sun had chased everyone out of the first six rows. All the players were against the back wall of the dugout since that was the only shade available, the whole front edge of the dugout and all the player's legs were in the hot sun. Game ended with dugout and ringside seats still in direct sunlight. Plus too,we got spanked pretty bad today, pitchers could not throw strikes until Bryce Ah Sam and Cody Culp came in but by then we were down by 15 already. sigh.

Go Bows!
