BWC POW goes to UC Davis’ Squyres
Others nominated: Danetta Boykin (CSUN); Jenelle Hudson (Long Beach State); Ali Barbeau (UC Santa Barbara); Nikki Taylor (Hawai‘i). Except for Hudson a setter, the rest of the nominees are OHs.
IMHO Magill's numbers are better than Squyres. She had way less total attempts than Squyres. At least, she should have been Hawaii's choice for POW
Over-all efficiency
Squyres 9 sets played:

24K (49 total attempts) 1SA 1BA =15.5 points less 6KE 2SE 3RE=14.5 points, .367 hitting %

Added Higgins stats because Hudson is also a setter. IMHO Higgins overall stats are better than Hudson.

BWC POW to Squyres, Hawaii nominated Nikki Taylor
Re: BWC POW to Squyres, Hawaii nominated Nikki Taylor
Is the SID the only person responsible for "nominating" weekly POW, FOW?
Bottom line those responsible should pay attention to the game....and follow the STATS!
