Loved the video stream from USC today!

Game wasn't quite as good but our bats were hot!

This was old PAC12 conference so didn't really count after last weekend's win in Big West, but wow, great game. Final score really doesn't tell the story, 'Bows were in it most of the game even after spotting the Trojans several runs early.

They scored more runs than hits if i remember correctly, and we had more hits than USC! They left their starter in and we rotated pitchers every inning or every other inning, but wow oh wow did Trap' rewrite the lineup on this one?

Biggest thrill was getting to see LJ Brewster... you know he has a cannon for an arm. A few posts ago i predicted he'd be starting at 3rd? Um, not quite. Pitched relief a few games ago. But played 3rd today. Then *tried* to pitch relief but that didn't work. Great glove at 3rd tho, might put J.Jones into relief mode. Who also pitched today. So did Scott Kuzminsky. So did. Well, Aussie 21 Jones and most of the 'pen. We gave up a bunch of runs late, but rallied again and again. Had USC sweating it out with not only RISP but bases loaded and then some. Great game until we just let them into RBI city at the end...sigh.

But the bats, that got "airlifted" into Northridge just in time to lite them up on Sunday, continued hot today against USC...14 hits? Seemed like most of the club whacked some and did Stephen Ventemilia really go 4-4!!!? wow. you guys all know about half the UHBB roster is from California (14 of 'em?) so Wobrock and all the guys had some pretty good cheering going on. Glad to see the 'Bows batting well today, and *nice* video stream from USC! Go Bows!
