BaseBows vs. UC Irvine

Post by Ulchiro5ga »

This weekend's series (and next week against Cal Poly) will tell us if Hawaii are for real or just pretenders. Irvine's No 1 pitcher is suppose to a "can't miss" future MLB'er. Andrew Morales 5-0, 56 Ks, 12 BBs, 0.51 ERA. Opponents batting .148 in 52-2/3 Innings. Cal Poly will play UC Santa Barbara this week.

Yup. Ulchiro5ga, nothing like good pitching to shut down the hitters.

Couple of defensive errors at Murakami tonight, and too many men left on base, but neither were a factor in tonight's loss. Kudos to the starter for UC Irvine, not many pitchers can shut down both Ka'eo and Flores in consecutive innings!

my odds on next 2 games? S.Squier will win and UH bats lite up, 3rd game close but Kuzminsky closes for the win in late innings. Tough loss for Matt Cooper on the hill today.
