Missouri transfer, Stefan Jankovic commits to UH.
I wonder if Stefan (from Missouri) is transferring to Hawaii
Negus' ex-teammate, Stefan Jankovic, (6'11" 250 lb), from Ontario, Canada (like Negus) and went to Huntington Prep in WV (like Negus) has formally asked to transfer from Missouri this past week. I say, there's a possibility, he's coming here!?!?!?

Negus Webster-Chan knows Stefan Jankovic since the 4th grade.
Nice write up on March 19, 2013 of Negus and Stefan. (See black highlighted area in link below.)

We need a Big man for next year, like Stefan.
We’ve done a good job with transfers; Keith Shamburger from San Jose State, Davis Rozitis from USC, Christian Standhardinger from Nebraska, and Negus Webster-Chan from Missouri. And that’s not counting the JC transfers (Garrett Nevels, Quincy Smith, and Brandon Spearman). That’s a pretty good line-up.
Regarding transfers, if someone needs a change of scenery, why not play in Paradise.

From a Missouri Tiger fan, I think you guys are getting a player with great potential. I hated to see him go from Mizzou, but the writing was on the wall. He is a great outside shooter and a great long range outside shooter and a decent ball handler for a big man. He needs to work on his inside game on offense as well as defensively. He really needs a lot of work on defense. Really needs to learn to move his feet better on defense. He is going to have to learn to guard a 4 or a 5 as I don't think he has the feet to guard a 3. He has things you can't teach though, like 6' 11" height and being an above average athlete for his size. I hope he does well at Hawaii. Best of luck!

Jankovic enrolled and now on the team as red-shirt. He enrolled in classes last week and is now officially on the team. He will become eligible next December 2014. I'm not sure if he can play in time for the 2014 Diamond Head Classic (I thought I read it somewhere exactly when but can't find it now).

which works out because the guy he's replacing has no real post moves, has faulty D, plays the 4 spot, but isnt as athletic as Jankovic.Tigermike wrote:From a Missouri Tiger fan, I think you guys are getting a player with great potential.
