Sept. 6, 2013- The Wahine volleyball team beats Santa Clara and coach Dave Shoji earns his 1,107 career win. Shoji has the most career wins in NCAA Division 1 women's volleyball history.

The career record breaking win was great but I liked the win over #1 Texas on opening night better. You never know how teams will perform in the first match of the season and the Wahine came out and played a complete match for the win.

The win over Texas in women's volleyball is probably #2 on my list.

Adding to my short list: outside hitter Emily Hartong named AVCA First Team All-American (again).

You shouldn't be laughing (even at your own joke). That win saved the players and the fans from 20+ years of shame. Now maybe only 10+ years of shame instead. We still shame from Von Appen's 0-12 season.
