I think we go dancing this year...
Ganot has them playing really well. If they keep it up, the tournament is definitely not out of the question.
One thing that'll be inexcusable is multiple Big West home losses. We CANNOT afford to lose more than one conference home game. The only way we can recover from that is if we get hot at the end of the season and into the conference tournament (ala 2001).

Agreed. I think this year's team shoots well enough and can actually run an offense to keep BWC teams from beating them by playing zone and packing it in. They might not run the conference (because that's just hard to do) but the team is good enough to do so and should win most, if not all, home games...

One thing Ganot needs to do is squeeze some production out of the rest of the bench during conference play. He has to find a way to keep the core group, particularly Bobbit, healthy and fresh enough for the conference tournament. I would also like to see some experimenting with big and small lineups to be able to throw different things at UC Irvine and to be able to go small if the Stefans get into foul trouble.

:hello1: +1...agree. Add the fact that he's attacking the ball for steals makes him incredibly valuable on the court. \:D/

SB's RPI is basically because they hit half the Pac-12 on the road, so their SOS is sky high right now. Getting the win at a mediocre Washinton team shot their RPI up like 75 spots because road wins are heavily weighted and most good teams dont road trip much. also why our RPI (before the last tuneup games which tanked it down 50 spots) was only 46 compared to UCSB's 50 despite us having better wins and a better record.
When in doubt, burn it down.
