The State of Utah was suing the NCAA over the BCS format they have. And the NCAA knew Utah was serious. But later on, Utah dropped their lawsuit because a BCS conference accepted them in.

didn't crabby Winston also sign a bunch of stuff? how is he still playing?

Florida State is a name school. NCAA ALWAYS kisses up to the name schools because the name schools earn the most $$ for the NCAA.

As for Manziel suing the NCAA, he has rich parents thus why the NCAA backed down with him.

Yep. The NCAA will back down to anyone associated with the Power5 conferences and bully the weaklings by taking out their frustrations on them. We're a weakling.

Actually they didn't drop it until the playoff was announced.

(You think BYU fans would just let them drop it?)
