they protected our coach…….why ruin our tournament chances by getting suspended for punching an idiot……..well if he actually touched Gib that would be different…..the players did a smart move and get in-between the fan and coach and push him away instead of creating a worse scenario like new mexico state did…….ok so player fighting fan could bring disciplinary actions, but a fan fighting a fan to protect their coach? dudes lucky there wasn't a local bradda ready to bang……lol

That was the craziest thing I've ever seen from a fan. That kid should've been punished more than just being removed from the game. Did they ever announce why he went after Gib?

Actually, from what I heard on the radio talk shows, he was arrested and will be facing a school hearing on Monday, possibly being expelled. Someone else please correct or add.
