Of course they didn't give us any votes. We didn't beat any East Coast schools. Oral Roberts was as close to the East as we beat, but who gives them any respect anyway? We need to make believers out of these guys with two road wins.

I"m all good with SIU getting votes. They play a tough road schedule and pull out the majority of them as wins. UAB gets votes because they're from Conference USA.[flip]3n wrote:yep, meanwhile SIU and UAB get votes
UH had one vote in last weeks Coaches Poll. I think it came from Tulsa's coach, John Phillips. (Well, I hope he did!) Since he resigned a couple of days ago, I don't think he voted this week, thus UH loses his vote. It doesn't really matter right now anyway. Come home with two road wins this week, then we'll be noticed.
UH do have 8 votes in the A.P. Poll: LINK: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/b ... index.html

I thought it over. It's a good thing we don't get any respect. We all here know that when Hawaii gets an ounce of respect, we lose. If always being snubbed is what it takes to get us into the Dance, I'd say we go 27-0 and be ranked as high as 26 all year long.
