2018 HS Football Pick 'Em - Championship Week

Post by reignjah11 »

Rules: Each week will be its own separate challenge. I'll list 10 games and you post your winners. The person who gets the most picks correct, wins that week's challenge. Tiebreaker: the person who guesses the game of the week point total correctly or closest without going over wins. At the end of the season, whoever has the most first place finishes will be the 2018 Pick 'em champion!

@gopunahou: You're going with Mililani? That would be a major upset, but I sure hope it happens.

I haven’t forgotten what happened to us against them 4 yrs ago. This Mililani team is playing just as good at this time of year as that one did.

@gopunahou: OK, but I think St Louis now is better than Punahou then. The fact that Mililani beat your alma mater four years ago, was less of a shock than if Mililani beats St Louis tomorrow. If any Mililani players are reading this, PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN!

I mentioned this in another thread but one thing that can motivate Mililani is a "win one for McKenzie" cry!

Kapa'a vs Lahainaluna -- my entry is late so you can disqualify this pick if you want, but if you look back I almost always side with the underdog if there's at least a reasonable change they could pull off an upset.
Waipahu vs Hilo
Game of the Week: Mililani vs Saint Louis (63 pts)

@gopunahou: Well, indeed, McKenzie suffered a terrible injury. But, that won't necessarily translate to a win for Mililani. What really would have been nice is if McKenzie himself sent a message to the Mililani football team. That would have been something. Meanwhile, you and I have to brace ourselves for our "St Louis School root canal."
