Recruiting for Mainland schools just got a lot easier. See who Hawaii got a verbal commitment from. And recruit from there. All the screening has already been done. Win. Rolo may know your name for two years. If Michigan calls you, you are on the next flight. That's how the world goes. Can't just let the opportunity go by.
On a srs note. Have there every been a player that committed to a mainland school then decided to come to play for Hawaii? I'm not talking about interest from other school. It's always the other way around. Hawaii got them, and they changed their mind.
Why does UH always get shafted?

Re: DT Aaron Faumui Signs NLI with Virginia
Welch from this year's class. I can't think of others. Going from UH to a P5 school and a good academic one like a Virginia or maybe a Vandy, I can see but to a non P5 school, I can't really see.

@cabanalane: I think it all comes down to high-school players in Hawaii not being loyal to the home team. THEY are the ones shafting UH, and as a UH alumnus, I think that that's appalling.cabanalane wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2018 9:33 am Recruiting for Mainland schools just got a lot easier.
