Official Kahuku vs. Bishop Gorman Thread
Re: Official Kahuku vs. Bishop Gorman Thread
The Waianae game did not show any gains on the offense. Just smashmouth. The Radford game,35 pts.on D and special teams. When the D scores along with special teams, the offense is denied chances to get on the field. To go up to #1. BG and really not be ready with a passing game , maybe that's why the OC was let go. In any case, win the coin toss, elect to receive, and keep Martell off the field. That would be a great start.

Speed kills. Kahuku must cover wideouts that are clearly faster than anything they've seen. Go RedRaiders!

@Markeke: Well, beating Bishop Gorman seems kind of quixotic, seeing as they're #1 nationally. If Tata thinks Kahuku has a legitimate chance, and therefore wants to see his O develop a pass game, I guess we can't fault him for that. But then the question arises: Why didn't Hao develop a pass game?Markeke wrote:The Waianae game did not show any gains on the offense. Just smashmouth. The Radford game,35 pts.on D and special teams. Good to see #12 Falemalu back from injury. Props to Tata for sticking with Sol Jay. Gorman backs can hit the hole quick. A great team like Gorman has a great fast O line. After that everything falls into place. 14-7 Gorman at the half, really good sllooww game so far, lol. Thanks for the stream highschoolrewind. Except for Fluffy, screaming,HE WAS SPIKING THE BALL REF....WHAT.

One thing I've noticed over the past 20 years or so: The best mainland teams always seem to have more speed than the best Hawaii teams. But, Hawaii teams tend to be more physical and hit harder.

Wow that's some bs at the end! Play action deep pass then another drop back pass with like 15 sec left! No class BG! Probably jealous there were more kahuku fans at their own stadium.

@reignjah11: Yeah, well, there are some teams right here on Oahu that do the same kind of thing. No class, is right. Anyway, I wasn't expecting this kind of blowout; thought the game would be closer. So, how would St Louis have done? Better? I don't know; at the moment, they're down to Kamehameha, 3-0. But, it's only the 1st quarter.reignjah11 wrote:Wow that's some bs at the end! Oops, spoke to soon. It's now 7-3 St Louis.

That 3rd and 16, and Martell is scrambling down to his 10with a mean pursuit, and he escapes and gets a first down at the 50. That, was the play of the game. That Texas coach was right, that's Tate Manziel.
