With several freshmen and sophs starting for Mililani and a couple of two way players I think the cupboard is bare for Rod York. I did hear that there were several players that did not suit up though.

Not much people respecting Mililani but I believe they are still the 2nd best team in the OIA. I've seen them play kahuku and move the ball against a really good defense. On the defensive side of the ball they have a solid front 7 that gave kahuku fits against the run. They still have the edge against Waianae but it go either way against Kapolei.

yeah alot of the starters did not suit up. oline was majority backups. as for people not respecting Mills, i agree...I think they'll have hard time stopping the run but the their secondary looks to be legit. they still got talent at the skill positions on offense.

I believe that the OIA is Kahuku,Waianae,Kapolei and Mililani in that order.

ehhh i would put Mills ahead of Kapolei until they show they can at least make the playoffs. How many Kapolei teams have been hyped up with all these "college prospects" only to finish below .500
But they do look good this year...finally!

Lucky for the lights because St. Louis was going to run away with it.

Exactly. They've been classic underachievers.

24 players not suited up is alot. A/P or injuries? Play with what you got. Mililani should be fine as the season rolls along, but I think they'll be lucky to make states this year. Next year and the year after more than likely.
