I think changing the final seed in the state tournament to a deserving at-large berth regardless of conference would be the best solution. Perhaps after the OIA third place game, the OIA 3 plays the ILH 2 for the spot. The team that earns that spot would arguably have the hardest schedule getting there and would definitely deserve it. Same with Division II. Instead of the OIA getting two berths, perhaps the final berth is at-large (which would allow both Konawaena and KSH to enter the tournament).

Anybody know the status of Tristan Nichols at Saint Louis? He was nowhere to be seen at the last Iolani game. No matter where he is currently, he should stick with football if his heart is in it. He looked like the best DL in the state in the snaps he had against Punahou until he was ejected from the game. He's a high-major talent in my opiniOn.

Saw him walking around at the Maui High/Lahainaluna game this past Saturday. I believe he's very talented...that being said, his greatest ability lies at tight-end. He's really good there. That's why I thought it was odd that he moved to St. Louis that only runs the Spread offense and doesn't employ a tight-end set. Either way, I hope he does well. BTW, what was the ejection for?
