Recruiting in the OIA should be allowed. It's the only thing that levels the playing field. Not every school has homegrown studs growing in every other household like the Kahuku. If recruiting didn't exist, they'd be on top every year.

I think a lot of OIA schools are recruiting informally and unofficially, through indirect channels. I suspect that even some alumni are trying to steer good players that they know, to their alma mater. Alumni want to see their alma mater win football games, right? You don't go to a game to watch your old school lose; that's such a bummer.
