The only prediction I question is Waianae. Yes, they had what, 7 starters out against Moanalua, including the 1st-string QB. But look at how Kaiser beat-up Aiea. Of course, it didn't help that Aiea had some 30(!) players out on AP. Will Kaiser crack the Top Ten in tomorrow's SA poll? I'm assuming that Waianae will drop, after losing to Moanalua. IF Waianae is still ranked ahead of Kaiser, I'll go with Waianae.

And when was the last time Waianae played Kaiser? For YEARS, those two schools were in different STRENGTH divisions, as well as different GEOGRAPHIC divisions. I recall the late-'70s, when those two schools dominated Hawaii prep football. For example, in '78, Waianae was Prep Bowl champ. Just a year later, in '79, Kaiser was Prep Bowl champ. Now here we are, some 35 years later, and both teams will finally meet again. It's amazing that more than three decades have passed. Not only that; again both teams are strong, as was the case back in the late-'70s.

Yeah its a toss up. A lot has to do with whether or not those starters return for Waianae. I just went with my gut on this one, Waianae has a habit of playing poorly one game then turning it on the next.

Kaiser played Waianae in the playoffs in 1996. this was when it was Red White and Blue divisions. Waianae won 35-0 and eventually won the OIA championship (I think)
college football=drama for men.

OK. I don't even remember that '96 game.
