Thanks again, Kapakahi. Coach Leslie talked about Jacob in the backfield (offense), didn't mention him at DE. I'd look at my video, but don't know his number yet.kapakahi wrote:Jacob Afalava, KahukuPupulePaul wrote:8/9/14

You went there with the 99s!! Haaa... I didn't have the nerve to do that (yet)... guess I want to leave a little room for the guys to peak even higher. But I can't disagree with your ratings. I just want to see everybody in action ASAPrednblue wrote:Quarterback

Re: Player Ratings by Position
Good point, except Tua (STL) is a sophomore and hasn't played in a varsity game (yet) only because of the ILH rule that forbids freshmen on varsity rosters. I don't mind seeing ratings of kids who have or haven't played varsity ball yet. Finding that fine line between evidence (returning players' statistics) and potential gives us a better view or perspective on the 2014 season. A lot of these first-year varsity players are going to make a big impact. Same with the guys who were secondary contributors and didn't rack up a lot of stats in 2013. I lean heavily toward evidence, but it's tough to deny that someone like Kobayashi (STL) is going to make a major impact. Or Ah-Hoy (KAH).newguy wrote:rednblue wrote:Quarterback

+1 This list is great because it is made up of kids that played Varsity last year so it's based on what the kids did not what they are capable of doing because they lit it up in the JV or they had an awesome scrimmage last week... Just my 2 cents..
Re: Player Ratings by Position
Welcome back,PupulePaul!
How about Izaiah Lavatai ,SR,Radford on the DB list. He had around 6 interceptions last year and has a little speed if you read the track results for the boys100 and 200 meters.I would give him an 80.

Thank you, unpaid! Is he related to Sanele Lavatai (Farrington RB c/o 2014)? Also, is he a CB or S?unpaid wrote:Welcome back,PupulePaul!
