two of which should be on the watch list.
Jrue Williams RB
Malcolm Macatiag LB, both helped Kahuku JV win a championship but they moved to Utah last year and are back at Kahuku to grad with their classmates.

Shouldn't Apelu be ranked right behind Malepeai? Apelu has to be AT LEAST the 2nd-best RB on Oahu. I think only Malepeai should be ranked ahead of him.PupulePaul wrote:Boo... Malcom macatiag and alohi Gillman could be the best tackler on the team! To me I think Gillman should be one of the top athletes out there.

If Apelu can return to pre-injury form.....JMHO that still pretty even with Taulapapa.....and just above Ah Hoy.HS Football Fanatic wrote:Shouldn't Apelu be ranked right behind Malepeai? I heard that Malepeai--like Apelu--is recovering from some kind of injury right now.kapakahi wrote:If Apelu can return to pre-injury form.....JMHO that still pretty even with Taulapapa.....and just above Ah Hoy.HS Football Fanatic wrote:Shouldn't Apelu be ranked right behind Malepeai? Re: Player Ratings by Position
If and when Apelu is healthy, he will go higher. I want to leave him some space higher rather than assume he's already back to peak level after that injury. He was extremely productive before the midseason injury last year.HS Football Fanatic wrote:[Shouldn't Apelu be ranked right behind Malepeai? Apelu has to be AT LEAST the 2nd-best RB on Oahu. As for Piceno, I like his skill set and quickness, but his numbers were so-so last year. I'd love to see him get a lot of touches in a Sproles type of role. Swing passes, screens, some routes from the slot.

Probably better suited to be a SB. Reminds me of Mighty Mouse......Chad Owens.....kapakahi wrote:BTW, Piceno is rated way too low. Gotta be rated in the 80s.PupulePaul wrote:Boo... Good points, Looked again at his 2013 stats: 693 yards and 10 TDs from scrimmage, and then there's his impact on special teams, which I hadn't even considered. Looking only at his rushing stats, they were solid, not spectacular. But his skills as a receiver are a major plus.
My next update, Piceno will be in the 80s for sure. The versatility is a huge asset. Just didn't see many LEI games last year. Keep me posted on any of the guys I don't track well.

Re: Player Ratings by Position
Yeah, I'm a ncaa/madden junkie too. There are always guys that deserve the 99 each year, and IMO what Ulu-Perry and Fehoko managed to display against top tier national talent made them worth the rating. Hopefully it will translate to the field to provide us some amazing matchups throughout the year, for them as well as others to prove themselves against them.PupulePaul wrote:You went there with the 99s!!
