And classic comments by the coach in the paper - "they busted their tails for me" "it's so hard for me". what about the kids? not hard on them? Not sure if they busted their tails for the coach...

Let's see if they can rebound next year.

Have to read between the lines and recognize the positive message. The Punahou kids obviously improved. Went from "you guys are embarrassing me." to "they busted their tails for me." Textbook Positive Coaching Aliiance.

no doubt everyone wanted the season to turn out differently. every dog has his its day. 2014 wasn't our day, so what! move on already

because if you haven't figured it out.... I will tell you... that you and all those who choose to kick a dog when its down are the problem

the puns will return one day because people care

Sorry, but this is Punahou we're talking about here. We are ALL gonna "kick the dog when it's down."

And if there's a problem with that, well, that's just the culture Punahou has created for itself.

Edit: lmao oh boy. I accidentally typed "god" instead of "dog."
Also, why isn't there a 'smh' smilie?

why? Did Kenny quit or get fired? My money would be on Matt Apana.

Doesn't Harrison have kids coming up through the Punahou grades? Would think he'd stick around for the younger ones and do for them what he did for his first boy, so Punahou will have to find a way to win with him.

He's done.

Punahou does not fire coaches, they "ask them to resign". He's already been "asked" before.

Maybe we'll hear from some parents
My understanding is that if most any school here wants to get rid of a coach, it WILL ASK him or her to resign, as a matter of courtesy / protocol. Only if he or she refuses, will it then FIRE him or her.
