Castro MIL vs Dolor PEC 109 girls final for me was the match of the day. Action packed with shido called on both sides. Went golden score where Dolor did a uchimata to osotgari combo for the win by yuko. Two high caliber players leaving it all on the mat.

The line penalties was being given out in almost every match. Let the kids play that's ridiculous you could lose a match by stepping out of the line. This is what judo is turning into...coaches yelling to players take um out the line! Crazy.....halaokolele wrote:boring finals higlighted by shidos and yukos lol

Sounds about right PEC boy's has numbers with a few standout players but the other teams have more quality players. PEC boy's long shot but I wouldn't count them out. PEC girls have the number's and talent, I see them taking it again.Cyber Ninja808 wrote:Any predictions on the OIA team championships? I got Kapolei boys and Pearl City girls. Judo is completely a waste of time. Between the rules changes (Rules changes should enhance not stifle competition), and the over the top politics, it's no wonder interest has evaporated.
Re: 2014 Judo Season
The oc16 website does not show the HHSAA 2014 Judo championships on the TV schedule. Can anyone confirm if it was dropped?

Just saw the States brackest. They look pretty stupid. Looks like the HHSAA is trying to kill judo.

Judo is killing itself, not the HHSAA.twnoexcuses wrote:Just saw the States brackest. They look pretty stupid. Looks like the HHSAA is trying to kill judo.
