Re: Big 5 Week 6
Interesting that you picked Campbell to beat Waianae. After Waianae upset Leilehua--and the score wasn't exactly close--I suspect Waianae might win. But I would also say the game should be pretty close, WHOEVER wins.
Noticed that you also picked Kamehameha over Punahou. Just curious: Want to predict a margin? I think Kamehameha will win, too, but I'm thinking only by a FG or something.

Kaiser
Campbell
Leilehua
Farrington
Punahou
Going on a limb for Campbell and Punahou winning. Both have the potential to be very close games. But, IMO, I wouldn't hesitate to choose either team.

Nanakuli @ (D2: 2)Kaiser
-Kaiser I think Cougars got too much firepower.
(6)Waianae @ (8)Campbell
-Waianae I think Waianae kona punch da sabers in the moufth(not literally, but u kuys know wat i mean...lol)
(9)Kapolei @ (7)Leilehua
-Leilehua Not really impressed with 'canes.
McKinley @ Farrington
-McKinley I think Govs lose this game and then decide to turn it on for the rest of the season.
(1)Punahou vs (2)Kamehameha
-Kamehameha I'll take a good and powerful running game with a kick azz D against a coaching staff that has yet to prove they're capable of figuring out how to beat a team with a powerful running game and kick azz D

Re: Big 5 Week 6
Yeah i know the safe pick would be to take Waianae but i just get that feeling Campbell is gonna pull this one off kinda like my Kapolei pick last week. Theyre coming off a bye week and playing at home so i think Sabers will be ready for this game.HS Football Fanatic wrote:Interesting that you picked Campbell to beat Waianae. For the kamehameha game i predict the score to be 24-21 Warriors. I think it will be a defensive dominated game for the most part. May come down to turnovers like the St Louis game

Re: Big 5 Week 6
Amazing! That's EXACTLY the score I predicted on one of the threads on this site, a day or two ago!
Re: Big 5 Week 6
For obvious reasons, even though I think Kaiser will beat Nanakuli, something is telling me otherwise. I need an upset game, and this may be it. Nanakuli 38 Kaiser 36reignjah11 wrote:Idk whats up with sayno but ill keep this thing going since we have bunch of guys that like to do these weekly picks.

Waianae has the offensive edge (o-line) over Campbell, but it is hard to underestimate Hurd.
Waianae 24 Campbell 21
Leilehua has the coaches, speed, and discipline and Kapolei just got an impressive roster (on paper)
Leilehua 48 Kapolei 7
Farrington hasn't lost to McKinley in ages (96') and they will continue the streak
Farrington 21 McKinley 7
Kamehameha has the offensive line, backs, and a good defense, Punahou has a great QB and receivers.
Kamehameha 30 Punahou 27

Re: Big 5 Week 6
Interesting, only 1 guy so far picked punahou.
Re: Big 5 Week 6
OK, here goes:
Kaiser over Nanakuli - 37-13...Offense, Offense, Offense.
Waianae over Campbell - 24-17...Good game, but Waianae defends better.
Leilehua over Kapolei - 31-10...Too much fire power for the 'canes to overcome.
Farrington over McKinley - 24-10...Farrington grinds this one out.
Kamehameha over Punahou - 27-24...Is there room for me on the bandwagon???

Can't really speak for others, but I think the Warrior's D is a major factor.reignjah11 wrote:Interesting, only 1 guy so far picked punahou.

Re: Big 5 Week 6
Not only that...Punahou's RB Sekona and DE Kaumatule won't be playing. Kaumatule, especially, is a BIG loss. That's going to hurt Punahou's pass rush. Not that Kamehameha is a pass-oriented team, but they CAN pass, and will probably have to. Kamehameha has a good running game, but Punahou's D is big and strong, particularly the LBs.
Re: Big 5 Week 6
neither middle LB for punahou is over 5'8 big and strong i think not but Chung is a student of the game solid backer Lakalaka is the biggest i think on the outside and he is goodHS Football Fanatic wrote:Not only that...Punahou's RB Sekona and DE Kaumatule won't be playing.
