Well, looks like Kahuku will simply RELOAD for next year, not rebuild. But, how will their O-line look next year? Who will return? Any good O-linemen coming-up from JV? Or, will Kahuku be like Kamehameha: Returning a good RB (Apelu), but not much on the O-line?dirtylickens wrote:HS Football Fanatic wrote:The kid is only a SOPHOMORE?dirtylickens wrote:All i know is that i watched that kid Kesi Ah-Hoy (#4) out of Kahuku. Kid looks like he'll be the next Aofaga Wily to come through and dominate the state as a sophomore. Remember the name ladies and gentleman. Kesi Ah-Hoy is the smoothest runner i've seen in a long time.
YES! thats the scary part. Kahuku will continue to produce offensive lineman that will be strong run blockers. So it will be scary to see the numbers he can put up because he accels in the passing game as well as special teams. He is quite the athlete and a pleasure to watch.

he did carry the team to a jv title as a freshman and usually the varsity takes the cream of the crop early for lineman. was actually suprised they didnt bring him up early. I would say its good enough.

best move Norm Chow has made all season. Am i the only one who sees him at Oregon.... as Mariota 2.0. This kid is the real deal. Dont see anyway he stays home to play for the dumpster fire that is UH. I can only hope he decides to though, he would be a huge pick up for the state

Re: Hawaii Football Prospect Watch List
I think any good QB coming out of STL from now on will be measured in comparison to Mariota. He has good pocket presence and looks to throw before going mobile similar to Mariota... I agree there is no way he stays in-state to play for the Warriors. I think by the end of his STL career he may hold offers from all Pac-12 programs.dirtylickens wrote:rednblue wrote:2017 Saint Louis QB Tua Tagovailoa has recieved an offer from the University of Hawaii.

No doubt! Just seeing him play and his abilities makes it exciting to see him possibly suiting up in Eugene on saturdays. Part of me also wants him to go and play with another St. Louis alumni at Texas A&M. Marcus has opened up eyes at the college levels for skill players coming out of the islands and especially QB's. Johnny Football 2.0? Lets hope hes more like Marcus off of the field than Johnny. Wish him the best of luck, he is a great talent and a pleasure to watch.
