Lots of Pac-12 verbal commits thus far from the top local HS prospects.....
- Manu (Stanford)
- Ulu-Perry (UCLA)
- Kane (Oregon)
- Matautia (Oregon State)
- Fifita (Oregon State)

.....compared with a relatively quiet summer for UH with local HS recruiting.....

Isn't Seyddrick Lakalaka one of the top 2017 prospects? He's the brother of Steven and Ronley and may be the best of the bunch.

Seyddrick Lakalaka: The 2017 Punahou prospect caught my attention on day 1. Lakalaka has the size and skill to play either strong safety or outside linebacker. At All-Poly, he was primarily playing SS and looked really good as a defensive back. Lakalaka is well put together for a rising sophomore, and has natural instincts that college coaches look for in a defensive playmaker. The younger Lakalaka should be a force in Hawaii for the next few years.

All i know is that i watched that kid Kesi Ah-Hoy (#4) out of Kahuku. Kid looks like he'll be the next Aofaga Wily to come through and dominate the state as a sophomore. Remember the name ladies and gentleman. Kesi Ah-Hoy is the smoothest runner i've seen in a long time.

YES! thats the scary part. Kahuku will continue to produce offensive lineman that will be strong run blockers. So it will be scary to see the numbers he can put up because he accels in the passing game as well as special teams. He is quite the athlete and a pleasure to watch.
